Well last tuesday and wensday were the first days I actually got up and stayed up on a wakeboard Smile. Most of the days went pretty well but I do have some questions. Im starting to get my edging down, and I can heelside edge good (i ride goofy btw) but im having some trouble toeside edging. I can do it and all, but once i get on the toeside? side of the wake its hard to hold the rope and position my body, but ive started doing it one handed so i dont have to twist so much, is this ok or should i break the habit. My other question is that i made the mistake of buying a lake side store board (overpriced and crap) and a new board/bindings is out of the question for a while, but after a fall i flew out of my bindings and got a little slice in my foot from my bindings, i dont think it would happen because i fell alot that day but is there any way to prevent that, like wearing socks or somthing untill i get better bindings?
Heres a vid of my first 2 times ever standing up for you to laugh at Smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UC8MsuGAec this is before i was getting my edging down so its boring.

I watched your video half the battle is over now that you can get up. Break the habit of the one hand deal!!! Not a good thing! You are keeping the handle out away from you like you are on a ski. Try to keep it in on your hip, that will also help with getting out toeside and keeping it on your hip will help when you start doing tricks. Watch some videos on edging you will see what I am talking about. As for the slicing the foot thing all I can say is buy some new bindings or suck it up.
