| Does anyone know anything about the Tsunami Wakeboard Towers? It seems like an incredible price - but is it too good to be true? [/i] |

| lalsu98, Have heard mixed reviews but I think you get what you pay for. I, like most on this planet do not have an extra 3K to spend on a tower for my 9K boat. I settled on the Monster Tower, primarily because of the comments and reviews on this discussion forum. I somewhat struggled with the looks of the tower but it actually grew on me. It doesnt look like a pro flight tower (my favorite) but it does the job, was cheap and has a warranty that is probably the best in the tower industry. check them out www.monstertower.com |

We also have a 5 year warranty. We guarentee the tower will be silent or your money back. Our prices are also low because we do everything including powder coating in house. We cut the middle man out and pass that savings to our customers. This is the first year this tower has been manufactured after we designed and tested it all last year. We are so confident this will be the most solid universal tower out there and thats why we slapped the 5 year warranty on it. _________________ http://www.xmpinc.com |

| I don't like the way the monster tower looks at all. Today on the river I saw a Tsunami Tower and it looks real good! I wish I would have been able to ask the owner how good it works. The 5 year warranty adds alot of conidence in going for the Tsunami Tower. It has been ordered and is on it's way. Thanks for the advice - and I let ya'll know how well it works. |

got tower on today...Not real sure how well other tower stack up but i'm impressed with the towers looks and install..The directions were good and clear, though it wasn't a walk in the park it's nothing that with time and patience you couldn't do in your front or back yard. It took us about 5 hrs. to install but we took our time and that includes supper and a run across town to borrow a sawzall. Weather permitting we'll try it out along with our fat sacs it should be a different boat. Pic's and more info/advice/opinions to come... _________________ Kurt14 |

Kurt,
Hopefully you'll have some nice weather this weekend. A new tower and some fat sacs, man your boat is a wake machine now!!! Still trying to get the group buy going. If it happens I'll get you some more racks. I'd love to see some photos of the install when you get a chance. Enjoy your Tsunami. _________________ http://www.xmpinc.com |

We just got our tower in yesterday evening. We started putting some of the pieces together - but didn't want to get to into it because we also have some speakers on the way and we need to wire those in the tower when we put it all together. Did you have to reinforce your hull at all? We did find that the back legs of the tower will hit some reinforcing that the manufacutrer must have put on our boat, but the front legs won't hit the front reinforcing on our boat.
But all the tower components look very very well made - nice welds, thick, sturdy and the finish looks real good. We can't wait to see what it looks like installed on our boat. Kurt keep me posted on how much fun it is this weekend and hopefully if we get ours installed by then I can keep you posted.
Extreme Marine - will ya'll make some racks to hold a knee board too? Or do you maybe recommend a rack that would fit on this tower? Thanks for the help. |

We don't manufacture a rack to hold a knee board. I can't remember ever seeing one either. I would try doing a google search and see if someone manufactures them. You guys can email me some install photos when you get out on the water to nick@xmpinc.com

Does the tsunami fold down? Where i ride there are bridges we have to go under, a tower will not clear. Scott77 has the monster on his boat, i actually like it. It was the tower i was going to buy until i saw this thread.
Edit- I saw one of the pictures that had the tower folded down. I also heard that monster sells blem towers at a discount, you wouldnt happen to have any of those lying around do you? _________________ http://www.myspace.com/wannabess

The Tsunami tower does fold down. You can also completely remove the tower by loosening 4 bolts and if you buy 2 pairs of quick release knobs the tower can be removed in seconds with no tools. _________________ http://www.xmpinc.com |

The price on the Monster doesn't seem that good. Are the Big Air H20 towers any good? Because the price on those is even better than the Monster, and it looks a lot better IMO.

Sorry,
But we don't have any blem towers on hand. We do our powder coating in house, so if there is a flaw in the finish we strip them and then re-powder coat them. _________________ http://www.xmpinc.com |

Shipping free to Canada? I live north of Toronto and can I pay with credit card? How long from the time the payment goes through till the tower arrives? _________________ ride... |

im in niagara falls, you will pay crazy border fee's with the tower crossing the border. best thing to do is get a mail box place to have it dropped off (like i did) in niagara falls, NY then bring it across the border yourself. |

So, who has installed this tower?
DO you have pics you can post or e-mail?
I am in the market, but am leaning toward the Monster b/c it will still fit under the cover we have for out boat, same 5 year warranty, and guaranteed silent.
Ugly? Perhaps, but still seems like a good bang for the buck. |

I got to see one installed on a boat a few days ago. It rattled alot but looked ok.
Feet seem to be an exact copy of the Monster design from what i can tell, just with less chamfered edges...
Still a close call but I personally feel better towers are available for the money. _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Brit,
We all know how much you are into Monster, since most of your posts reflect this. Our Tsunami Tower is guarenteed silent or your money back. We also slapped a 5 year warranty to back it up. When properly installed, the tower will be rock solid and rattle free due to our solid inner couplers and set screws. Just read some of the feedback from our customers and they will say you won't find a better tower for the price and service we offer. Not to mention the free accesories. Love it or return it. _________________ http://www.xmpinc.com |

Hey,
In total honesty I support whoever gets the best product out the door at the best price, and right now thats Monster. But your Tower is getting very very close
Having worked with your past towers the Tsunami is a huge leap forward and the incentives you are offering are awesome value - though it would be cool to see your racks hold 2 boards and a full size CIPA mirror. Rigidity is very good, quality is great and the finish looked solid to me. All in all its a pretty great tower and your price is certainly impressive! But there are other options and although you are making one of the better towers I'm still standing behind Monster as slightly higher quality, easier installation and rigidity.
The only other thing I can add is that your UK dealer needs to start selling professionally to keep in line with you guys in the US.. currently he seems to be trading mostly on Ebay and online.
