You just gotta go for it. Stay committed. Visualize what you're gonna do, and then do it. Your falls will be worse if you don't go at it 100%.
I've been working on backrolls and tantrums for about a year now. Haven't landed one yet, but I'm getting really close. For me, the backroll has been easier. If you can "get" the motion of the tantrum, that one seems pretty easy too.
Just give it a go. Really. It won't hurt. |

Tell the driver not to let you get in the boat till you try one, that seems to work the best in many situations.
Or just stop being a sally , J/k _________________ Neuston Boards

| Yup, cowboy up and try a backroll. You'll probably surprise yourself and land it. Back ear to your back shoulder and look back over your front shoulder. Wait for the pop tho. Then throw it. |

i had the same problem...i was exact same skill level as you...ts/hs 3's n grabs all around on the 180s...honastly for me it took an unusually large boatload of friends and a couple drinks to start attempting them...i tried to throw a tantrum...but if u don't know how to "trip" it u'll prolly only get 1/2 way around like me...i was so stoked i tried it and it didn't hurt i went back out n tried again...knowing i wasn't getting close i switched to the backroll....felt maybe 3/4 of the rotation but my friends said i was so close n just to suck up my legs...4 tries later i stomped it....just force urself to throw it...once u realize how easy they can be n how there's no pain involved they'll come in no time _________________ Smile at the hotties on the boat...Huck ur new trick...Nail it and they'll think ur Wicked..and even if u bail they can soothe u afterwards:D...
