I know there are people here who know the answer...

This isn't really a simple question!! It all depends on how much weight is in the boat and what lenght are you talking about!!! The vlx I rode behind had alot of weight in it,it was wider than the SAN I rode behind with less weight and I ride at 70!!

Ok, how about 75-80ft rope, both boats stock ballast, plus 1 or 2 sacks.

Pretty sure the vlx will always have a wider wake than the SANTE due to the wider hull.

I agree that the vlx has a wider wake!!!

wakeboy, When we say wider,we are not talking like tug boat wide.......ha ha ha!! I feel that the two wake's are very good wake's and you can't go wrong with either one of them!!!

just to add another opinion.

I've never noticed any significant difference in the widths of the wakes behind either.

so, basically, its not even a big deal? If a couple of you can't even tell the difference, that means I wouldn't notice either.
