Does my boat matter?

OK.....i am new to tricks and getting good air......i have a chaperell (SP?) and i was wondering if the wake from my boat is prevnting me from clearing it.......i was wakebording from a smaller boat and i can clear the wake easy.......

i bigger boat means a bigger wake which is harder to clear than a smaller boats wake. but just cuz u cant clear the wake doesnt mean that u cant do some wicked tricks
