ive never wakeboarded before and i was wondering if its anything like snowboarding, would tricks be about the same or what? i can do lots of grabs and cork 5's on a board, what should i start with on a wakeboard??

| I think the principles are the same, one just has to change the execution of the moves. I do believe being a boarder(of any type) gives you an advantage, vs someone with no boarding experience. This is coming from a snowboarder, that is now doing wakeboarding, and is new to the water. |

yea dude, although i'm kinda sketchy about your description of yourself, most snowboarders i know who can pop an off axis 5 wouldn't include grabs in their bag of tricks, that just kind of comes standard....
but biggest difference i find is using the rope to spin not spinning your entire body off the wake, if you do that it pulls the rope away from you-meaning no handle pass for you |

i just added the grabs part cause im wondering what i should learn on the wake first, spins and such or like japans and crossbones |

| I think logic would dictate that you start with the easier stuff, get comfortable with that, and then progress to the harder stuff. |

which board, the one im using or the one in the snow?
mine is a k2 zeppelin
the one in the snow is a .... i forget, it some board from japan i think, cause i went riding with a couple japanese ppl from panorama haha |
