Our boat doesn't have a tower, yet. We will probably get one soon but I was wondering, has anyone here tried both? I mean tower and no tower. What's the difference? _________________ SheLoki

| a year ago i was riding w/o a tower and it sucked. i could never get big air or jump the wake. We got the MONSTER TOWER and it is awesome. in a short period of time i'm already working on 180s. This tower is awesome and it will help you. |

This may seem like a dumb question...but can you buy a tower for any boat? I have a 21 year old Welcraft and because we don't have a tower, it's impossible to get enough air for a 180 or w2w jump. I would love to put a tower on the boat if I can, and if they don't cost too much.

Yes you can get a tower to fit your boat, but I'd save your money at this point unless you really want it. If you can't get enough air to do w2w's or 180's and you're buying a tower to accomplish this, work on your technique instead. And more important than the tower to improve would be the wake, so throw a bit of weight in the boat if the wake sucks. A tower will really just give you more hang time, so unless your rope is pulling you down in the air, the tower probably won't be of much help at this point. Here's a pic of my crappy boat, sans tower... tied right down at the bottom where the waterski ropes go. |

That's where our rope is tied and where I'm getting ripped back quickly into the water by the rope.
We had the boat weighted down pretty good with people last weekend and that didn't do wonders for anything. So at least the wake is good. I want that hang time. _________________ My other water preference is "frozen". |
