05 parks question

Hey i started wakeboarding about a year ago and at the end of last season i bought a parks. Before that i rode my freinds state. I was pretty new to wakeboarding still so i couldnt really tell the difference between the two. now that i am starting to progress i dont know if my board is bad from what i hear all the time..."how parks can only ride a parks." my friend just bought a watson so ill will get to try another board but i guess what i am asking is....Is my board way to hard to learn on? Im not a beginner (grabs and backroll..thats all i got). would i progress a lot more on another board...perhaps a watson or premier?
