so ive been practicing riding blind so im comfortable with it for when i try to land blind, but i can only ride for a few seconds before i have to regrab the handle with my lead hand becuase i feel like im going to be unwrapped, and if i try to hold on when i get this feeling i do get unwrapped. also, i tried an ollie blind 180 and was unwrapped almost immediatley on the landing. any tips to stop yourself from becoming unwrapped while riding blind?

i'm not great at landing blind or anything but i think it helps if you look behind you when you are doing it. when i say look behind you i mean look in the direction that you were coming from.

if yo'ure riding regular, your handle's gonna be in your left hand. focus on pushing that hand toward the boat past your spine, and tight to the small of your back. this helps to minimize the lever-arm that's trying to unwind you. also turn your shoulders away from the boat a bit to help you get your arm around more. watch some videos man, pay attention to the pros' handle position, and how they line their board up as they ride out of landing wrapped.
