I am so sick of this commercial on the radio. Every time I hear it, I just want to wreck my car. I'm not the only one am I???

I'm getting sick of commercials on my XM radio though. Thought it was commercial free, but now they starting to play some on select channels.

Commercial free applies to the music channels where XM provides its own content. When they play what someone else provides (FoxNews, ESPN, MLB play by play, etc) they have to fill in the gaps caused when the provider plays commercials. I agree that the ones they choose are very annoying and "tell them about the discount, Harry!" is the worst one. It makes me cringe.

The 7-11 commercial with the monks is driving me insane. I can't change channels fast enough. I had a biz roadtrip about 2 wks ago that was 5 hours each way and that damn commercial was on every damn XM channel about 5 times an hour.

Well Lance is the company that makes those little packages of 6 crackers that are cheddar or peanut butter or something. On the commercial, Adam Corrola from the Man Show and Love Line is on there asking people questions. I don't mind Adam that much but there is this little jingle they play over and over again. Driving me crazy.

I don't have XM but it sucks for those of you that do. If they play commercials, then what are you paying for???

wkebrd3, really? I hadn't heard any yet. I mostly listen to Squizz, Ethel, Lucy, and 20 on 20 for music channels. Which channels have you heard commercials on? That will really suck if they keep that up.

tball, I've heard them on 21, 22 and some mid/upper 40's channel. It's only like 1 or 2 here and there, but it still sucks man.

I know that one of those lower 20s channels is from a real radio station in LA; they might have to fill in the gaps for them too. I'll come unhinged if they start throwing commercial breaks in the stations I listen to..."and now a word from our sponsor: TELL THEM ABOUT THE DISCOUNT HARRY!!" click.

Any channel that has a little "cm" next to the station name on your display is now a commercial channel.

those are the Clear Channel operated channels, by no choice of XM they are playing commercials.

I just checked the xm channel line up, the only stations that have commercials are the regional talk, news and music stations. That's channel 11, 21, 22, 24 and 161. Not sure about the stations that do play by play for MLB, but I would guess they have to put something in for filler during inning changes.

MadDog, yessir, play by play uses the home team's radio broadcast; everytime the radio guys go to commercial you get "tell them about the discount, Harry" or some viagra/cialis pitch.

XM 152 has lots of public service Ads in between the shows and its very annoying. I am tiered of hearing that one about how the black leader dude can teach our kids about how to mannage money.

Squizz is my favorite and its still commerical free

Okay I don't listen to satellite radio, but if anyone every drives through Kamloops, turn on your radio. I swear this is the cause of car accidents Confused

The ads are just getting worse
