It is a joke and the movie is not meant to be taken seriously... There are several comic actors in the film - like Keenan Thompson. Not many people are getting it though - and there are more comments like the one above than I expected to see. I guess people dont understand tongue in cheek humor much these days.

Old news btw, but... Samuel L. Jackson signed on when it had the working title of Snakes on a Plane. He threatened to walk if they changed it which they were trying to do, because he thought it was so rediculously funny. So yes, it's supposed to be a spoof.

I'm looking forward to it although the amount of hype it's getting is worrying as that usually leads to disapointment... let's hope it's good enough to warrant a sequel "More Motherf***ing Snakes On A Plane"! Wink
