Where is the best hangout area in Knoxville TN

I new to wakeboarding and was wondering where the best place in knoxville was to go and park, to watch and try to learn. I noticed a lot of people on here are from Knoxville and hopefully can give a newby some cool locations to check out.

there is an INT stop in k-town commin up on the 8th and 9th... www.intleague.com but its a cool compition thing thats mostly just for the fun of it.. but thats where you meet people and find that stuff out...but i mostly ride on watts bar an sometimes ft.loudon, but i dont know of any ''Hang outs" i ride where there is smooth water

Friday nights at Sequoyah Marina on norris lake, they have wing night. There are a bunch of people that come out and eat wings. If you get there from 5 to 5:30 and come upstairs to mission boarding co, we usually go out and ride for a couple of hours and then come back and eat wings. Just come upstairs and tell us that you read this on wakeboarder and will go ride.

where do u normally ride? alot of people ride back in turkey creek. it gets pretty washed out on the weekends. most of the k-town guys on this site know each other & ride together. i'm hoping to get out this weekend, maybe we can hook up.

As far as hangouts go, there isn't one real good place to go watch people board. I see a ton of boarders on Ft. Loudon out around Lenoir City park, lately Jeff House has been riding out there alot cause his rent's live out there. Always cool to watch him ride.

I think the fact that there ISN'T one good place to go watch is a good thing. We just have enough good water to spread out and have a jolly ole' time Smile

i'll be at wings and corona night at sequoyah friday as well. not sure if we are bringing the boat, but if we do it's a dark blue MC X7.

Tcannon521, The guys i go out with live right off of Ebenezer as well man.I don't really know where to put in they dock at concord marina..... I think there are some better spots for sure.I could be wrong.... Hope it all works out for you man. Maybe we will ride here in a few weeks. or something.
