Im moving to Genova Italy soon (next week) and was wondering if anyone on this forum is from around there or knows anything about the scene over in Italy. Ill be working for Costa Cruise lines, based out of a port city, and figured there might be a good possiblity that someone wakeboards. I did find a cable park in Milano which is pretty cool. Anyways, if anyone has any information of any kind that would be sweet.

Thanks

When I was over there last summer I wakeboarded once, and I had just barely missed the Itialian Pro Tour stops. I also know that there was an Alliance "Pull" episode where they went to Italy and there were some wakeboarding schools and such that they boarded at. There is definitely a scene, but I don't know much about where/what it is. Also keep in mind that fuel costs are much higher, so this hinders the wake scene a little bit.

Go to Lake Viverone - Viverone (BI) (from Genoa is about 70 minutes)
good schools, great boats (x-star 2005, x2 2006, x2 2004)
