I took a lesson at a local ski school last year and decided right then and there that I needed a real inboard towboat. Did some research and went looking for good used boats. I'm really happy with the boat that I decided to buy (1993 Tige 2000 SLM COMP) but it is not a tall boat. I'm noticing that the later wakeboard boats have taller hulls. I know there are a lot of people that are using ski boats for wakeboarding, and am wondering if there is anything I should be aware of. I'll weight the boat down, and I already learned that if you stop quick the wake is likely to wash over the back.

Not only the back but watch the bow on those boats. My dad has a '98 21i (open bow) and the water comes easily over the front even when it isn't weighted. I don't have a problem on my '93 SN when weighted. But you'll need to teach your drivers how to avoid that problem or you'll get a ton of extra weight without trying! _________________ Don't look at me in that tone!
