Billet, is it just me or do those clamps not open? If they opened I might be interested in a set of the 2", but they won't slide past the cross members on the tower. Very Happy

I bought ones just like that and put them on my last boat. They are good cans but need sound dampening. They look sweet too.

The only suggestion I have for people who buy these is to get speakers with grills that fit the entire lip, otherwise you'll have an unfinished edge. MBQuarts were the only speaker at the time with a grill that covered the whole thing.

Yes it's me but i now have a new company. My new cans no longer have a seam toword the back of the can. Spread the word let everyone know that i am back and i am going to sell everthing very cheap. ( Towers, Speaker cans, Clamps, Light bars, Lights, Mirrors,Mirror arms and tower building supplie's ).

Welcome back. They will definitely be better without the seam, but even that doesn't make them look bad.

You might want to think about having the factory polish the front edge also. If you put standard 6.5's in there, the grills won't cover that edge.

I have the 1st Raul cans and they were a great DIY project for me one summer. I needed to dampen them but they sound great for the price and I pretty much set them up exactly like Oshensurfer did. Great quality at a great price.
