Personally, I think you should stick with your current board. I've never ridden a liquid force but just in general beginner boards tend to give you a much more sturdy ride and are more forgiving while you are learning jumps and tricks. I've heard that the liquid force diva is a great beginner board, and I don't think graphics should be your deciding factor...
I've been riding a beginner o'brien board for the last 3 summers or so, this year I bought blur/noise package, my very first "nice" board and I love it! The blur responds very differently than my beginner board and it allows me to go for those bigger jumps, it's a thrill. I don't think I could have have handled it as a beginner tho. It's a tight board... pretty expensive too... So my advice is this, you just bought an amazing beginner board that is also very pretty, enjoy your new board and have fun learning to wakeboard, don't worry about getting a better/prettier board just yet, wait until you are a more experienced boarder... just be excited that you have your new liquid force to learn on, and have fun~!

I rode the blur for a few weeks. It was a fun board, but pretty lose on the water. You should stick with the Diva. It's a good board, and not such a "beginner" board that you will be super restricted to a learning curve. I have ridden a lot of boards and the Diva and the Syn/Era (HL) are probably my favourites because they are very consistant.
Howver, different boards fit different riding styles. Go with whatever sounds like the better board for you. |
