Apologies, I have asked this question before but I really need in depth clarifying.

I understand how to do progressive edge, keep my edge stand tall at wake. I currently lean back to keep my tension, extending my legs (body still leaning back) but hands at hips to keep the tension so that I could land..... but something is not quite right still.

I was told (actually by 3 different persons), keeping the above concept but when I'm standing tall, I should be pushing down with the front of my feet and not my heels, and when I am at the top of wake, or/ thats when my final push down with the front of my feet (toes)? It does not make sense to me, aint I flattening out? and I wont be able to show the bottom of my board when i'm in the air? I'm getting confused.

Thank you for your patience.

who told you that? keep edging and push with your heels and bring your toes up towards you shins. Your not going to get it overnight but next time you go out you will feel the pop a couple of times. Know this before you hit the water. Its good to go out and work on mechanics but at the end of your run loosen up and have fun and just flow.

Umm...yeah...if you push down on your toeside edge you wouldnt hold your edge all the way through the wake. Just forget what they told you and listen to us. We've got you covered. Wink But seriously, thats not correct form, the only reason I could think of letting off your edge like that would be to perform a trip flip, which I don't think you wanna do yet. Use a progressive edge and hold it all the way through the top of the wake.

Thanks guys, I have been frustrated for the pass 2 days until I read your replies. I will just ignore those people and do what I think is right.

I'm still working on my timing. I'm pretty proud of my 1 wake, but when it comes to 2wakes, I'm still wee off in timing. Thanks again.
