How critical is the size of the board i've been riding a 138(2 years) and I'm 5'11" 170lbs. I'm looking for a new board and what size range should i look in? i was thinking 134-138? LMK

I would look between 137-142. I prefer larger boards (I'm 5'9" 184#)

I don't know your style or likes so I can't recommend you a board.

Maybe post up your preferences and like, and dislikes about your current board.

As for the smallest boards (a.k.a. grom boards) out there (for your 3 year old):

I ride Liquid Force's Nemesis 131 and love it...there is a smaller version of it that accomodates riders weighing 30 to 70 Lbs. It is the Nemesis 118. The stance range is 10" to 16" and it's got 3 fins on each end (2 molded & 1 removeable).

Check out this link: http://www.liquidforce.com/kids_nemesis118.htm

CWB offers one for smaller riders too. It's the CWB Charger 119. Here's the link for that one: http://www.ridecwb.com/2006/index.php?mod=boards&id_prd=23&id_gal=19&display=spec

O'Brien offers one as well. It's the O'Brien Vision 121. Here's the link but you'll have to navigate through their website for this one: http://www.obrien.com/

And the smallest one of the 4 I've listed is by Hyperlite. It's the Hyperlite Motive 109. Here's the link and you might have to navigate through this one too: http://www.hyperlite.com/06_web/06_index.html
