Me and some friends are planning the big wakeboard trip to the US in this autumn... We have pretty much decided to go to Florida because the flight tickets are pretty cheap from Denmark. We would like to stay in a camp where there is some nice accomidations and where the atmosphere are nice and relaxed in the evening-time. Not relaxed in an old granny way, but you guys know, nice and chilling!

We have heard some good things about Jack Travers waterski school, but as far as we can read from his website, it's primary slalom and trick-skiing he is teaching.

Any of you guys know a nice place with our requirements?

p.s. it would also be nice with a cable track...

Dude
Go to www.dcwake.com there are reviews of The Wakeboard Camp (Clermont), The Projects (East Orlando), Otown Watersports (Orlando) and the Orlando Wakeboard Academy. Click on the news section on the left side of the home page and you will see two reviews of Florida Wakeboard camps listed (one in March the other in Feb)

All are different but Otown is probably best for you guys since you are downtown and can easily go out at night.

From what I've heard, the Boarding Shool is also right up your alley but way more expensive. You get to ride with Shaun Murray though.
