i havve a 2004 moomba outback and i wanna install some easy automated ballast. right now a have a fat seat in the back and a regular fat sack in the bow. i want to install pump(s) so i can just flip a switch to fill and empty the sacs. i heard about the simmer reversable pumps and want to use the bung outlet in my boat to draw water? and if so can i install to pump from one oulet hole. i dont want to drill a hole in the bottom of the boat so im not sure what to do? can anyone help out or give me some info? thank you

Team, just have guts and drill a hole in your boat!!! You will probably need a 1" thru hull fitting if you want to run 2 pumps.

you don't need to drill a hole and the simers run fine off of the T-d in raw water intake. I've run 3 off of mine, so have multiple guys I ride with. Right now I'm running 2, only because I didn't need more water in the nose this time around.

PS. don't let the guys who tell you to go with a 1" or bigger diameter hose sway you, most of the pumps still only have a 3/4" intake!
