i havve a 2004 moomba outback and i wanna install some easy automated ballast. right now a have a fat seat in the back and a regular fat sack in the bow. i want to install pump(s) so i can just flip a switch to fill and empty the sacs. i heard about the simmer reversable pumps and want to use the bung outlet in my boat to draw water? and if so can i install to pump from one oulet hole. i dont want to drill a hole in the bottom of the boat so im not sure what to do? can anyone help out or give me some info? thank you
you don't need to drill a hole and the simers run fine off of the T-d in raw water intake. I've run 3 off of mine, so have multiple guys I ride with. Right now I'm running 2, only because I didn't need more water in the nose this time around.
PS. don't let the guys who tell you to go with a 1" or bigger diameter hose sway you, most of the pumps still only have a 3/4" intake! _________________ This has been a DizzyG Message
