I'd say go for a CWB board. They are light and very controllable. The Transcend pops very hard and very consistently from the center of the board giving you ultimate control. I would even consider the marius if I were you. It rides pretty loose on top of the water but edges like a bat out of hadez. The pop is very smooth and soaks up the landings better than any board on the market. Stay away from parks, that was my first board and its very squirlesh. Good Luck.

I've rode the Parks board, and I didn't like the inconsistency I was experiencing. I now own an Absolute and love it. Great pop, soft landings, and easy to control.

I mean this with all due respect, what makes you think someone on here has any idea what board fits your style of riding the best?

Obviously if you cannot demo, you are in a bit of a dilemma. But asking people on here to put you in a board is as scientific as buying the board related to the graphics you like best.

If money is no object, buy all three.

raygt13, Dude, The fact that you are only looking at the 'top' boards of the big 3 brands says to me that you have no idea what you are looking for, especially coming from a Sol to one of those boards, and asking us won't help. You need to ride as many boards as you can.

No offense, but after 3 years of riding, the last thing I needed was pop, the first thing I needed was someone who knew what they were doing to teach me. After that instruction, and a few more years of riding, I feel as though I could perform the same on a 'big pop' board as I could on a continuous rocker.

^^^This dude has a point, but you need a board that YOU CAN RIDE, not a board thats going to ride you. The Parks board is way overrated ony because parks is a good rider. Don't go with a board that has the best graphics, go with something that will be easy to learn on. I still recommend a CWB Cool

parks is super agressive and not really forgiving, nice pop, smooth landing.

Absolute really slow and super smooth landing, that's the result of the big rocker, nice pop.

Watson, really smooth and super forgiving, awsome choice.

My choice :
1rst : watson
2nd : absolute
3rd : parks
