Hey, I have the 05 LE Spyhnxs and have really liked them alot, they are really comfy and easy to get in even when dry.
My only complaint is after about one nice jump they seem to loosen considerable, kinda a hassle. But when I do ride them i tighten them up pretty tight and have came out of them several times without any ankle injuries, so far at least.
But hopefully I will have a set of shanes in a few weeks _________________ "One day Parks will teach me how to be a Professional Chase Boat Driver." |

| You will definitely come out more often than with a stiffer binding like the transits... I started out with the Sphynx last year and liked them a lot, although i did find they loosened a little if i landed hard. 2 pairs of sphynx ripped on me so i ended up switching to the transits. I like the added support of the transits and the dual laces never slip on me. I really cant remember the last time I came out of them though.... hope that helps a little |

| I had 05 Sphynxs. I liked them when they were on. But as soon as I started to ride, I didn't feel completely locked in. And my landings were very shaky. I was just waiting for a knee to blow out. The had too much give in them for me. I like to be locked in firm. |

I have the 06 sphinx, and they are super snug on my foot. They are not as snug on my upper ankle. I didn't think I was going to like this at first, but after demo-ing them, they felt great. Offers lots of flexibility for pokes and such. _________________ http://www.airtimewatersports.com
