|
|
I took a friend riding for the first time on Thursday and he messed up his knee. He was able to get up and ride around but was kind of straining against the rope. He said he tweaked his knee and he said it especially hurts on the outside of his knee. He can put weight on it and can even stand on one foot on it but he definitely is limping around. Any idea what he might have done or damaged?
Thanks,
Josh |

MCl is the outside tendon thing.. so maybe a strain of it! I think that is right.. ACL is inside, PCL is back, and i think MCL is side.... maybe a slight strain of it! _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

So ya i did some quick research.. PCL is outside of the Knee.. MCL is inside.. So to treat it, ICE it, take some anti-inflammatory, and keep it movin'.. peace man hope it works out for him _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

or it could be his meniscus. i tore mine on the outside but i was fine for bout a year and a half. then i got surgery but yeah it prolly is his PCL.

What anatomy book were you looking at??? The "L" stands for ligament in all those initials you're regurgitating and " M" stands for medial.
King of the Tigers, your description is very vague. The best thing for your friend to do is have an Orthopod take a look or at least someone who has a sports medicine background. _________________
8824, dude - I suck. You were right.
. |
