There are lots of boards out there and there's also a board finder on some online stores. If you're not sure what you want to buy, pop down to a local shop and see what they have. You'll probably be using a 135 to a 137 for your weight range.

I just started wakeboarding this season and I bought the Hyperlite Motive. I like it. They advertise it as a board that covers multiple skill levels, so in theory you won't need to buy a new board after you have started progressing in skill level.
the HL Drive is advertised as their fastest board, so you might want to take that into consideration.
I don't know much about the HL State, other than it was designed to have two different edges (the heel side is different from the toe side.)
As far as board length, most manufacturers have charts on their website to determine what you should be riding. You should probably stay within that range. I don't know how much easier smaller boards are to control, but the bigger the board, the more surface area will be in contact with the water, and the easier it will be to get up.
