Ok, i finally got up on my board the other day and i immediatly felt pain in my lower back and right foot. I'm thinking the lower back pain is just because i haven't done anything strenuous on my back in a while and that it will just take a little getting used to and it should go away.

I'm also thinking the right foot pain, btw, my right foot is in the back while i ride, i'm thinking it's because the shoe is turned the wrong way, maybe not a completely comfortable stance or something. Maybe it's to small.

If anybody else had any type of pain, or maybe advice on what to do, please help me out. It would be much appreciated. Also, if anybody has any advice on what i should do now that i got up and got a good feel for the board. I went outside the wake which was pretty easy, so I'm wondering if my next step is trying a 180 now, or doing small jumps, or what. Thanks. Sean

if you are getting sore after the rides then its not unusual....some of my friends (and I did at the beginning of the season) complained about a sore back and hurting feet....the back problem will go away after a couple runs because it just needs to get used to the stress of wakeboarding, and as scar said, you should definetly stretch before you ride. As for the feet, if it feels like its getting crushed or pinched while you are riding its because your binding is too tight on that foot (which happens to me even up till now because my right foot is a bit bigger than my left) your only chance of that going away is if you got your binding stretched somehow, if not then you just have to deal with is like a lot of us unfortunetly do.
