My Hobie board came with 4 narrow fins, 2 wide fins and 3 mounting locations on both ends.
Which and were should I install the fins?
Thanks |

| Um judging on the number of fins id say Narrow, Wide, Narrow in each end, wide being in the middle. Or else it would seem off balance but Im really new to wakeboarding so i dont know, that just seems logical . |

You want the set-up to be symmetrical, so if you are going to use all six fins, put the bigger fins in the middle, and the smaller fins on either side of the bigger ones. You can also do any combination that will be symmetrical, i.e. all four little fins, or just the two bigger fins. Eventually you will probably want to experiment with all of the configurations to see what you like the best, including no fins at all. If you are just starting out, I would put all of the fins on to begin with. This will keep the board "stuck" to the water so there is less chance of it sliding out from under you. Once you start trying to do surface tricks, you will probably want to remove some or all of the fins to make the board easier to break loose from the water...ultimately it's personal preference though.
