Anyone sell boats???

I have been selling motorcycles for a few years and have gone through almost every aspect of the front end including sales, F & I, and sales manager. I am really interested in changing gears and getting into something else. I've done the car thing and refuse to ever do that again. I'd eat out of the trash before I did that again.

If any of you sell boats here, what is the industry like? What kind of earning opportunity is there? Would you go with a small family owned shop, or a large corporation like Marine Max? How seasonal is it really? I'm located in Texas so there is not really a "motorcycle" season. I would think that the boat show would keep things "afloat" during the winter also. I'm considering re-locating to Austin sometime this fall. I have to sell a house first.
