As you stand tall you shoudl still be leaning bacxk against the boat. This will keep the line "loaded" (i.e. with lots of tension in the line) which you need to do and should keep you on your edge through the wake.

When various instructions say stand tall they do not mean stand up dead straight as if you were standing on the ground. It just means straighten your legs. The board should still be on it's edge if you are leaning back against teh boat.

As I have said a number of times before, imagine you are trying to show the graphics on the bottom of your board to the people in the boat. Thsi shoudl just help you to keep thinking about keeping the board on it's edge through the jump.

Let me know if this isn't clear and I iwll try and explain it better.

I agree with ripava82, I do the same thing, I can get wake to wake but I ride a Parks Biolite 144 and I should be FLYING due to the fact that, that board has TONS of pop, but when I do as I have read on here from you Rocket, when you stay in the cut all the way through the wake it wants to wash out or just throw you all crazy? Really want to see the pop that this board is rated to have!
Thanks

DonTH8_Masta|HyPerLitE, Sorry dude, I'm not sure what your getting at?

Are you edging all the way through the wake and then finding that you are being pulled about all over the place in the air? If so this is likely to be beacuse of the position of your hands. If you have loaded the line well and stay on edge through the wake you will find that as you leave the water it pulls you hard. If your hands are away from your body you will get pulled over ontop your face. Also if your hands are high up by your chest you will feel really unsteady in the air. Keep your hands in by your hips. This will lower your centre of gravity/pull and will keep you a lot steadier in teh air. Also make sure your hands are in tight as when you land it will result in tehre being some give in your arms where as if they are out in front of you there will be no give as they are already fully extended.

I hope this is what you were refering to but if not post again and I'll try and address your issue.

hyperlitesonofabitch, sweet. It's amazing the difference a small change can make isn't it.

dude, ur riding a parks. parks has a three stage rocker as opposed to a continuous. this means that in the very center of the board on the bottom there is a flat spot. this is GREAT for ollies but kinda bad for holding the edge all the way through the wake. also, the landings tend to wash out alot more on a parks than a board with a continuous rocker. one person once told me somewhere at some point in time for some reason that "Only Parks can ride a Parks". I guess it's true. peace.

i tend to agree with that...i mean you dont see any other pro or up and coming rider using a Parks board do u? the only rider i've ever seen with reasonable talent that rode a parks is Parks (sorry if there's someone on the forums that's good and rides a parks haha)
