| Most ive had would be about 500 lbs in ballast and like 13 people in our little 16' outboard. It was good on planing...since we had like 5 people in the front of the boat....wake was freakin huge....Ill never forget that day...thank god for the heavy duty bolts and hydraulic trim system on our boat....I swear thats the only thing that kept the motor attached to the boat and not bending in half. |

Funk, sounds like a good old workhorse to me!
I ride with a friend that has an 89 malibu sunsetter that has a ton of hours on it. We load that thing until it's sunk, and it probably has one of the best wakes I have ever ridden!
I have never been behind an old Nauti like yours, but I'm sure that it's insane....I love the older boats... |

we had 17 folk in the Pro-V a couple years ago. That had to be the BIGGEST wake I have ever seen! It did take a little while to plane, but once up and running, OMG!!! Didn't realize just how much it was until it came time for the DU. Probably the highest I have ever been! Oh the good old days, I want that wake back!! _________________ Bill Reynolds
