Just bought myself some 08 Ronix cells. Really nice boots but the Silicon ink in the inner lining that grips the heel down has started to peel after 2 rides only. Now i have no problem with a bit of wear and tear, but as a result this stuff is cutting up the back of my heel.

I have 12months worth of warranty, but from what i've read the warranty doesn't include the usual wear and tear from using the boots. Im gonna try and get a hold of Ronix Australia and see what they can do. Has anyone else had similiar problem?

If I ever have a defective boot like that or a cracked/broken board (without hitting sliders) I send it to my local dealer and get it replaced. Perf stands behind stuff, but you can also send them straight to Ronix and they'll normally replace anything defective.

I don't care what the warranty says - every wakeboard company i've ever talked to has covered equipment that didn't cut it like it should. Wakeboarding is one of the niches where companies actually take care of people (this might only be because they have to since the customer pool is so small, but I don't care why it's happening I'm glad there are companies doing the right thing).

Call em up. Tell them what's happening. They'll cover it, or you'll tell us all about it and we'll never buy from them again Wink I'm always really leery of new companies because I've only tried HL and LF so far and they've all been good warranty wise. Newer companies have something to prove so you'd figure they'd at least be as good as the companies who have been around longer.

Ronix is great about taking care of their products. Just let them know, you shouldn,t have any problem.
