I noticed very few places are selling this board, one being Cabellas.. so it immediately is questionable to me. I am looking for my first board to learn on & I hope to at least be intermediate before I have to buy a new one. Is this a good board to learn on or should I look elsewhere? I am interested in the 05 Hyperlite State & Motive, Liquid Force Stance, O'brien Clutch, or any other package for $300.
Thanks in advance,
Justin |

| If you want a board to learn on, and you can afford to by a new board when you get better, I've heard good things about the CWB Sol and Obrien Ambush. |

The first board I ever rode was the 2006 Hyperlite Motive and I bought it. Hyperlite advertises it as a beginner through advanced board, which is one of the reasons I went with it...so I wouldn't have to buy a new board to progess on unless I wanted to. I would highly recommend that board (or the 2005) but I haven't ridden any others.

| if you just wanna learn dude go to a pawn shop and buy a cheapy one and get good at edging, turning, ect you might not be able to get the best air with it but since your learing that wont matter much. then once you get all that down buy a good board since you wont need one to learn on anymore, itl save alot of money |
