Olympus E-10 Digi Camera?

I just bought 2 of these off ebay, one for the boss and one for me to use for 'marketing' purposes ....anyone have experience with these to use for wakeboard photography, it's a 4 megapixel. I do need to use them for marketing brochures for work and stuff, but I'm sure I'll be able to take one to the lake from time to time.....just looking for some people who have experience with one of these.

They take excellent pictures (as they should for the price) but the drawback to the E10 for wakeboarding is the 4x optical zoom. I went with the Olympus C730 since it has the 10X optical zoom.

You'll still get great pics, but you'll probably want to crop since you'll have a lot of wasted space in the pics. Since it's a 4mp it won't matter though, particularly for posting on the web.

Shoot in the sports mode, or better yet use manual mode and the highest shutter speed you can.

My boss just bought me the Olympus Camedia C-5050 (5.0 megapixel). It's also supposed to be for marketing purposes, but I took it to the slopes a bunch of times over the winter and plan to use it on the boat too. I LOVE IT! It takes really clean pictures. The only drawback is that there is a one or two second delay from when you push the "shutter" release and when it actually takes the picture. This can make it tough to take action shots - but you learn to time it after awhile.

It's a very good camera. Just get a telephoto lens attachment for it if you plan on using it for wakeboarding. The best part of the E-10 is the optical viewfinder.

You're a pretty lucky man, I really like those things.
