I just got a board and I am going to atempt it this summer what is the best way to get up?
I understand the board position but should we go from sitting still to wide open or just a smooth speed increase.

It takes alot more to pull up a wakeskater then a boarder so..on my boat I put it in gear moving foward at idle speed( holds the board on your feet) then when rdy I give it 3/4 throttle (vs 1/2 when pulling wakeboarder) and then ease back to 22-25mph.
