Sac question. Filling/plumbing/wiring.

I am getting 2 400lb sacs that are going under some seats inside compartments.
My thought was if I hard wire the pump up to a switch on the dash, and I plumb it to a throughhole in the bottom of the boat (with a gate valve to totally shut it down) then all we would have to do is flip the switch a few minutes before we go.

Is this what most guys are doing Question
