hey everyone,
im new here and new to wakeboards but i have kiteboarded for a while. im a student and don't have lots of money for a kiteboard because they are in the 800 to 1000 dollar range. i already have one but its a bit big and i just got my kitebindings in and want a board in the 130 to 135 size range. anyhow enough of that.
basically what i want to know is if there is a board that has low rocker for wakeboard standards, is very good at edging and quick when edging and can carry its speed through the times where there isn't much pull from the boat. (say you over shot the boat when landing or something). i would also want a board that has interchangable fins on the outside and not molded in. if they dont meet all the criteria mentioned i would atleast want some ideas. even if they are older like 2003 or up to 2006 or 07. i don't know how the year system for wakeboards goes.
Basically if you have ridden a board that you thought is fast or even to fast and has hard landings because of too little rocker or edges like a mad man then tell me about them.
i also intend to wake board sometime with it but right now i want to use it for kiting.
oh yeah also kiteboards are usually three stage rocker. never used continuous. give me some info on that too. thanks. |

I just started wakeboarding this season, so I can't give you a comprehensive list, but in researching what board I wanted to buy I looked at the Hyperlite Drive. They advertise it as their fastest board, and I'm pretty sure it's a three-stage rocker. They also have a Drive binding designed to go with that board. www.hyperlite.com will have details.
