shoot im paying 279 to fly from atlantic city to orlando both ways...hmm somthing is wrong here

Check the prices on Expedia.com and then make a bid at about 25-50% lower on priceline.com and I bet you get it.

Just a few words of caution:
ATA (American Trans Air) Overbooks their flights... this means that if you don't get there at least an hour or more early for the flight you have a possibility of getting bumped to another flight. this almost ruined a trip to ft lauderdale for me, so I refuse to fly them ever again.
AirTran used to be known as Value-Jet (Value-Crash) so you might want to take that into consideration.
BTW, the cheapest flights are the ones that are over a saturday night.
Ie. Monday to Sunday... Friday to Monday... etc. And book at least 21 days in advance...

air tran now has a great reputation. best time to fly and airline is after they've crashed. The govt is going to be on their asses more than ever

do you guys think it would be cheaper to buy over the phone by calling the airport or something...my tickets for april 13th to orlando from alantic city nj round trip only one person non stop were 279 and i was willing to pay that but they went up to 444$ i think thats alot! exspecailly from cheaptickets.com when they advertise 59$ each way to orland on the tv I mean i didnt pay over 400$ when me my mom and brother flew to colorado...whats the deal is it the whole 9-11 thing or am i getting riped off?
