On the water it is likely that it will take a long time to spin, so you have lots of time to get the pass. In the air however you have a lot less time. Pull the rope HARD into your lower back and be prepared to grab it with your other hand. Practice passing the handle or something like it behind your back when not riding just to get the feel of it.

ok here is what i do its kind of hard to explain so bare with me, i also ride normal so this is from a normal prospective, when you are about to ollie or hit the wake move ur lead hand all the way to the left of the handle, this leaves more handle on the right side so you are reaching for a bigger target behind ur back...also a trick i learned is tie a 5ft rope and handle to a milk jug and fill it with water, then start spinning it around ur body and try to pass it, you will have to pass it fast due to the centrifical force of the milk carton. hope this helps it was kinda hard to explain, just move ur lead hand to the edge of the handle _________________ i dont like people playin on my phone...i keeps it real |

Good practice for handle passes is gettin like an emply gallon jug and fill it with water or sand. Then attach you handle to it. Start passing it around your body but try to keep it close to ur hips. _________________ http://www.learnwake.com/amember/go.php?r=253&i=l1 |
