Westcoast camps (here in NorCal) is run by Mike Schwenne so you will get top of the line instruction plus you get to stay on a houseboat for a week. Next year I will be going there. I was supposed to be there this year but due to a severe concussion my mom forbid me to go this season. Even though I am 20 years old I still listen to my mom if she forbids me to do something. _________________ |

I've only been to the Projects, and I love it! You get great coaching behind the boat (3 sets a day) and even better coaching on the best rail park ever. Pros stop by all the time too, and a bunch of pros live there. Ryan Doyle pulls you in the rail park every day, and later, he'll probably come to the living room to play Call of Duty 2 or Halo 2 on the Xbox 360. You also get to wake up every mornig to complete glass.
Just my 2 cents. _________________ www.munsonski.com

| the projects is a blast. i loved it there...pat, keith, and ryan are awesome guys and are hilarious. byerly is there too and he's pretty sweet. and, yes, like Stewie said, pros stop by a lot. when i was there, parks, watson, sharpe, ruck, grubb, and a few others stopped by and rode the rails for a set. it was nice that i went that week because their boat was broke down, so we went 15 minutes everyday to the Murriot (shaun murrays place) and rode behind his boat and spent the day at his house. |

I had a great time at the Boarding School. There is a grocery store nearby, where you can load up on beer, and Shaun and Travis keep the fridge loaded with food.
What really matters is who else is there with you. I went solo. There was 2 guys from Oregon and 2 from the UK. We were all a little older. The youngest was 26 and the oldest was 31. It was a blast! We rode all day, cooked out and drank all evening. Well, they drank. I tried to shotgun a Coke with them though! Didn't work too well
Bring someone with you, unless you are a real easy going person. I'm sure everyone that goes isn't as fortunate as I was. _________________

ohio_wake_2008, yeah. Scott Byerly was there planning for the Toe Jam, and he took a set, and people were filming him and he lost his oneil vest, and he just asked if he could use my hyperlite one and of course I let him. Doyle also used my helmet, and Robbie Jacques used my board. Lol, a lot of pros used my stuff. _________________ www.munsonski.com

Make sure that you check out Otown. Under the leadership of Glen and Melissa Fletcher. With great coaching from Brad Buskas, Braeden and Jimmy. Nice accomodations and everybody I know has come away freakin out about how much they learn. Check it out! _________________ For God so loved the world, He gave His only Begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life! John 3:16 |

| I also went to the boarding school and had a blast! I went when shaun was still recovering from is surgery, but still an awesome time. I went down by myself to, but stayed with a guy from seattle and shaun's next door neighbor. Riding all day and hanging out having a great time at night. I was also fortunate to be with some cool people. |

I have reviewed the Wakeboard Camp, O Town, Dean Lavelle, Orlando Wakeboard Academy, the Projects and some cable parks on my site.
Go to www.dcwake.com . . . click on the news bar on the left and you will find a wakeboard camp review from February and also one from March.
IMO, most fun when you are not riding is the projects. However, they do not have the best coaching. I would vote for Otown in terms of progression because I accomplished the most there. But the others are pretty darn good too. |
