Couple of Pics from my runs from this weekend.
Here's a fun wipeout pic
And a pic of me jumping the wake. Didnt get a good pop off of this one (dont think i stood tall properly to not absorb the wake)
I've read plenty on getting good pop, and i can clear wake to wake every 3 or 4 tries. Can anyone give me a couple tips based on what you see in my picture that I might be doing wrong?
Otherwise, feel free to comment away |

The first thing I see is that you boat is unevenly weighted there. Look at the wake on the one side is smooth, and the side you jumped is all whitewashed......hard to get air on that.
The other thing is keep the rope more at your waist.....progressive edge that is hardest at the top of the wake as you're standing tall.
Just to name a few....I'm sure others will chime in with more |

Adjust the weight in the boat. You were too heavily weighted on the starboard (driver) side. When pulled directly behind the boat both wakes should look just like the starboard wake does in the picture (or close to it).
When you cut out the opposite wake may wash a little depending on how hard you cut and how much your boat is affected by the pull of the rider. However, as long as it is clean when riding directly behind it you're good to go. _________________

| Yeah, i'm having a hard time keeping the rope at my waist when i hit the wake. Balance doesnt feel right, though I am getting better, i used to keep my arms fully extended.. |

Keep the handle really low and at your waist the entire time, from when you start edging in, all the way untill after you edge away from the landing. The lower it is, the more control you will have in the air. You don't want to have it down to your knees though, but that's pretty obvious. Get it as close to your waist as you can. _________________ www.munsonski.com

| Maybe it's just the photo of you in the air, but I'd say based on that your riding pretty heel heavy. A little more front foot pressure should even you out a little more. |
