Okay, I was out trying a frontroll with no luck. I cut inot the wake hard and let off my edge up the wake to get the right pop but as I started the flip i had no rotation at all and barely got around to my back the first time and landed entirely on my head the second time with minumal rotation. I feel like I have enough pop but don't know on wheter to change my cut or maybe Im not starting my rotation right. Please comment. Thank-you _________________ kwake wakeboard gear |

Come in agressive but make sure you don't get to hunched over and try to load really hard at the wake. Come in, get as tall as you can riding up the wake. Don`t really think about letting off your edge, just carry the speed up the wake and get your back as straight as can. Then duck your head down and touch your chin to your chest and look for the shore your facing and take your rear hand off the handle. Get over your toes and keep edging away and you got it. TS Frontroll is a trip flip, sounds like your not coming off edge enough at the top of the wake and you forward momentum is what is carrying your rotation. Practice it a bunch, if you learn to trip it right you wont really have to do anything to initiate the flip, just have patience, trip it right, spot your landing and ride away.
Once you get the FR down try to same thing but hold on with both hands through the trick, you'll naturally initiate a 180 into the trick and you'll be throwing scarecrows in no time. I actually landed my scarecrow a few days before my Frontroll by accident. |

Not meaning to hi-jack, do you push down with the handle to help things get going? Also, does the t-side trip feel similar to the tantrum trip? Other than keeping a straight back (which I guess means lean on the rope) do you need to change your body position much? _________________ "I know violence isn't the answer, I got it wrong on purpose." |

| make sure that u let go with your right hand so that u dont do a scarecrow. u can use the back hand to throw urself into the roll, which is what i do and may be wrong. but it works for me. |
