I'm heading off to Folsom Lake for Memorial Day Weekend, I know a month or so ago the lake was full of debris, how is it now? Please recommend a few good places to ride, I've been there a couple of times last year late in the season, I rode on the West side of the lake just South of the Granite Bay Launch (off of Douglas) It was glass over the whole lake so we didnt need to hunt for a good spot. Any info is appreciated!

It's still 5 mph. Here's the link so you can reference it before you head this way. http://www.folsomlakemarina.com/

I thought I read that some guys were riding Folsom a couple of weekends ago. Was the restriction off and now back on again?

Yes. That was Chavez, me, DGoose, and J-Ro. It was off, but after that weekend, they put it back on because of all the disabled boats having to be towed back in.

You could walk on the water in some places. You're better off on the river. It appears to have calmed down quite a bit and there wasn't as much debris floating down from what I could tell from the highway. But, I haven't been out on the water yet and you can bet it'll be mighty chilly.
