| I currently ride an 03 or an 04 132 trip which has no pop whatsoever. I weigh around 120 pounds and I'm looking for a board with alot of pop and with alot of control. What size board should I get and which one do you think would be the best for me? I was trying to find a nice 128 board because lately I have been riding my friends 128 and it makes a world of a difference(maybe becuase its not a trip). Would the 132 byerly be a good board for me? Or is there another board that might be a better choice? |

if your not getting pop, getting a pro board wont help. your not doing something right. _________________ Leges |

| I've been riding a LF Trip 138 for 2 years and I have no problem landing out in the flats with it. Also that board has six fins, you arn't going to find many boards with more controll that that one will offer. Just a thought but you might want to spend money on your wake or either a good DVD to get your progressive edge up to speed. |

I used to ride a trip 133, and I weighed 170 at the time. It had tons of pop. You're doing something wrong. _________________ http://kmags.mybrute.com/

well boards that are 122 and 128 seem a bit small for someone that is 120 lbs.
how tall are you? _________________ Wake Forest University |

Dude i love the byerly. Definitely a great board.. although the rope snags the cutouts on the edges everytime you turn around to pick someone out of the water. _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

6'6"-6'7"..somewhere around there..
Yea i dont really know what it is but I can not get any height with my board..and when i cut as hard as i can ts my toes get caught in the water making it very difficult for me to get out as far as I can. Do you have any idea why this may be happening? It only happens on my trip. |

| if your toes are literally hitting the water when you edge toeside then you are not edging correctly or you need to reposition your bindings. |

| You are 6'6" and 120 pounds? I bet you look funny riding a 122. Maybe your weight is sinking your 132 to much. I cannot remember the weight on that board but I think the 138 would have fit you better. |

lol, 6'6" and 120 lbs would make an interesting looking person.
well, just make sure that they are centered on the board (centered side-to-side). angle is all preference. i have mine ducked 1 or 2 notches from straight. |

Yea im going to adjust it so that the hs is closer than the ts. Yea but there is something weird about my board..it also does this thing where sometimes it will feel really wobbly when i cut in, like all of the fins are broken off or something.. Do I need to put more weight on my back foot? Oh and this usually only happens when the water is semi-chopi, but where I live that is a normal thing for the water and it gets really annoying because it screws up my whole approach. |
