I learned a normal backroll first and then started getting lazy with them and throwing them partly mexican. That's easier for me although if I think about it I can throw them both ways. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

tpj, a backroll on the tramp is tough to duplicate because you generate your spin using the pressure against the wake. On a trick like the tantrum you initiate the spin with your upper body and head like on the tramp.
Having said that I've done both on the tramp. Both feel awkward. The difference in technique is you duck your head on the mexican and it alters the rotation from a cartwheel rotation to a half cartwheel, half front flip. I would recommend people try the regular backroll first though. I've seen people start out trying to throw them mexican and the way they end up doing it is very difficult to land. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

thanx for your help...its greatly appreciated
i guess ill have to grow the balls this weekend and im hoping to try a normall backroll, a mexican and tantrum. i was thinking to try the mexican first because that is the way i feel most comfertable when im inverted. after breaking the ice and feeling how it feels to be inverted i hope to just try a bunch and land the one that feels easiest |

| It took me a while to grow a pair and throw an invert because i too felt uncomfortable inverted. I find that I actually feel more comfortable throwing an invert behind a boat than on a tramp. It might seem weird but after your first fall you might be suprised how easy everything is and youll be questioning your manhood for not trying sooner. I know thats how i was. |
