I'm havin some trouble with my Tantrum. I can get W2W easily and consistently, toeside w2w, do 180s and grabs. But when I try my tantrum, my closest one was my first try at it ever, lol as weird as that is.
I have been told that you need to cut into the wake earlier and much harder, but i feel like it's throwing me into it too fast. I turn my board right before I get to the wake so that I am parallel to the boat. But since I'm gettin thrown into the wake so fast, I never get enough pop to land the trick.
How am I supposed to get any air under the trick? From what I've been told, you don't do anything, the wake trips your board and you just land it. Am I doing something wrong?

By the way. Cut hard and wait til the top of the wake to trip the board and stand tall like you are going to go up and land in the same spot. The hard cut will take you out, standing tall at the top will take you up.

Bro you said the problem yourself your squaring up parallel at the wake on squaring up as your going up/ nearing the top of the wake.

You want to cut out nice and wide give yourself heaps of set up time. Come in with a solid edge think of your cut on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being little to no edge and 10 being the fastest you can. Come in using an edge of about 8 you want to maintain this edge right up to the wake and as your riding up the wake begin to square up. At the point of take off drop your rear arm lead rotation with your head and also give a bit of "pop" off the wake with your legs (helps for more height). Spot your land 3 quarters of the way round.

Go for it bro hope it helps
