It's hard to say without seeing a video but the tendancy is to flatten off as you hit the top of the wake as you are concentrating so much on the rotation, this will result in very limited height in the trick.

Make sure you keep your edge all the way up the wake and through the top of the wake. This will ensure you still get the pop that you normally get in a w2w and give you the height to complete the rotation.

Also make sure you are not trying to initiate the rotation to early, wait until you are leaving the top of the wake or you will once again lose all your pop.

Finally, make sure you keep the handle tight into your hip, this will keep the rotation quick. If you let the rope out your rotation will almost stall and you won't get all the way round.

If you remember these three things when you are on the water you are doing well and you should have no problem!!! (It is however easier said than done)

Let us know how it goes?
