My cousin will tow it most of the time with his motorhome because I tow my travel trailer with my vehicle.Normally when we get to the lake,I hook the boat to my truck so I can use it to launch.

what is the black deal above the platform on the back of the boat? is that a guard? & it looks as if it & the platform are a part of the mold of the boat?

great looking ride BTW...i really like the looks of that dash.

Great looking boat, definetly my style.

I think the thing on the back is a transom protector....on steroids! Bet it does the job.

Steering wheel looks identical to mine! Laughing

Yes it is a transom protector and it does work great. The swim deck on the back of the boat is not molded to the boat.It comes off simply by removing two pins and then sliding it off. Thanks for the props!!RR

Richie44-
I just moved from Fremont, Irvington dist. off of gatewood and blacow. Your truck looks familiar. I have a big blue dodge HD with a Blue and white 2005 ProV. Where do you normally ride? I like the 06 dash way better looks like the difference between a 80's boat and a boat worth 50K. But the 06's don't have the in floor cooler. That is my favorite feature! I use to ride in a boat that had coolers for seats...........
Maybe I'll see you at the lake

Thats cool I live in the IRV like 2 streets from there. Are you still in Fremont? We normally go out to Melones or Pedro to ride.Yeah we were told that our 06 wouldn't have the in floor ice chest, but when we got it ,it did.We think that is a sweet feature too.I'll be on the lookout for the blue HD.Later

I think the in-floor ice chest is only gone from the V2 since it's shorter. The V2 I saw at the dealership had the ice chest on the port side, under the rear and side seat (you lose some storage there). But it did still have the floor insert for a table. And the 2006 Pro-V they had there still had the in-floor ice chest.
