Friday I went ot Sail and Ski to see how many times it would take to go fom loose to tight.... 52... 52 times of moving that rachet tightening thing around and around. That is a damn lot of times. I noticed the overlays were thicker on the new Parks and belmonts too. Heavier, but at least now they will not rip. Think I am going to stick with the Ultra's.

| I really wasn't that perterbed at the amount of twists. You can really lock these things down tight! I like ending my run the best, no more tightening the Belmonts further to be able to loosen the dumb plastic lock! Sorry, but I really don't like that thing, so this alternative seems great! They don't have as much heel hod down as I like but I did need a size smaller. I think they are outstanding. If you just run your palm across one side of the knob it tightens it up much quicker. |

Cables should hold up great in the water. There won't be any warranty problems there.

| I don't think the "stainless steel" cables will be a problem. They can't rust if that is what you mean. It is kind of weird that they automatically send you a replacement cable though, they may break relatively easy. I have put a ton of pressure on them and they have held it well. |
