|
|
| my friends got a 99 sport nautique that we weigh the hell out of. 500# internal ballast, 750 sack, 500# sack and 3-6 people. however, we're at the point where its too much weight and the boat won't go anywhere or plane out. Its got the 350 engine and should be able to move that weight right? I don't know what prop he has on it but I know it is factory and the boat can go like 50 mph. Do we need a new prop? If so what specs, i know almost nothing about props. thanks |

Talk to Acme Props http://www.acmepropellers.com
Buy suggested prop http://www.propellersonline.com
problem solved.
It is actually that easy.
Also sounds like you want to move some of the weight forward to help the boat plan out. That's a weight placement issue, not prop. |

I think you need to balance your weight out better or even take some out. That's an old boat. All that weight will kill your engine. _________________ Ride harder...
