| what is it called when you pop up on the back end and hold it, like a manual on a skateboard and a snowboard, or a wheelie on a bike? ive seen it before it looks sick on a wakeboard

Nose blunt, I think. If it is the move that Murray has sort of developed over time where he gets outside the wake, during the whip, and appears to be riding on just the very tip of the board... That move is very very pronounced though - and may not be what you are referring to...

Erik, I believe they're called soul turns. (I say this because theres a Hyperlite add where Parks is doing one and the caption says "soul turns will never die") Say you ride regular, when the boat whips around to the right, you edge out heelside and then move onto your tail on the left corner and ride it out. Those are soooo hard though because it takes so much leg strength. You need a pretty flat board though, you couldnt do it on a Byerly thats for sure...

Got anything better? It isn't a nose press and it isnt a true manual. I have read in a few places that Murray calls it a 'nose blunt'.

| Why not just call it a powerslide? Coming from a skateboarding background I don't like the idea of calling a "blunt" as that requires you to be on a rail or some other obstacle. And it would only be a nose blunt if you did it on your nose - on the tail would just be a blunt I suppose. Still, not fond of the name.

| brath5 - except in this case they're talking about doing it on water, so you're not ollieing onto something and getting in the position. Maybe I'm too picky, but I don't like the name.

no in the game it's on water...it's like a manual in tony hawks pro skater...up then down n it puts u perpindicular to the boat on the tail in a blunt right in the middle of the wake...which i'm sure is damn near impossible but yah 100% posative it's called a blunt.

Ian_82, no one said they were ultra realistic...but for the most part they focus on correctly naming the tricks.

Are you kidding me? Ha, I'd like to see where you got this information from. I recall seeing many a trick improperly named in SMWU - let alone the tricks which are impossible to do in real life, so the designers are forced to create names for the tricks.

| THERE IS NO NAME FOR THIS "TRICK" BECAUSE IT IS NOT A TRICK...Now that that is stated, i would call it a tail press or something along those lines, but it is not a trick by any means

| theyre not really manuals or blunts, you need trucks/wheels for those. i think they call them butters (nose/tail) on a snowboard when you are pressing while riding. id personally just call it a nose/tail press.
