Mine is a pain in the ass. Granted my dad bought it, but you can buy a Monster Tower for about the same price and they have had nothing but great reviews.
The tower is completely bolted and clamped together, and inorder to fold the tower you have to loosen the clamps that hold the front legs in, so that the mount can swivel. Then the way they designed it, its easy to accidently clamp it down on the mount and it doesn't hold the pipe tight enough, then the pipe pops out of the mount when you try to pull someone, and today that happened. Its happened a couple times before. I know this is my fault because i didn't tighten it correctly when I put up the tower, but the design really should've been better.
So anyways, while i was trying to fix this on the water with my allen wrench, I dropped the clamp in the water and didn't react quick enough and dive in because i had normal clothes on since i wasn't riding.
Also the tower is one fugly mofo.
So in the end, buy any reputable tower, but please save yourself some trouble and don't buy the CMC Typhoon Tower. |
